02-05-06, 12:32 AM Every wonder what is possiable in D&D? Do you have an unanswered question that should never have been asked in the first place? Do you stay up at night and wonder "Can Pelor make a burrito so hot not even he could eat it"? Look no further.

This thread is for players to propose those "unusual" topics that come up in games. Please, ask and answer alike.

1 - If you can color your spells, such as fireball, to any sort of color, will a black fireball casted in a dark room be noticed?
2 - Can a rogue pick his own pocket without him knowing?
3 - Why does Gruumsh have one eye if there are spells that can heal him?
4 - There is all this magic in D&D, why aren't there spells like Till Field and Pick Orchard?
5 - Every magical has some sort of purpose within either combat, social interactions, or skill bonus. Why hasen't WotC published any Earings of Musical Enjoyment or Clasp of Heroic Pose?
6 - How do people know the Abyss is infinite? Has anyone gotten to the end?

And one of my favorites:

7 - If I turn my Bag of Holding inside-out, can I walk through the dungeon walls?

02-05-06, 12:40 AM 1.) Not usually, although you can develop a stealth fireball with some Spellcraft.
2.) It's epic-level. Re: pants.
3.) It's a diety-inflicted wound. That's not something you just shrug off. Ask Vecna.
4.) Do you know how many Unseen Servants that would take?
5.) Would you buy books that had them?
6.) Conjecture based on scientific principles. And the word of the gods.

7.) No. Read the description in DMG 3.5.

6 - How do people know the Abyss is infinite? Has anyone gotten to the end?No. But I did once go to Layer 1.2546*10^9456: The Floating Island of Fandango, Where Everyone Leads A Life Of Wine Drinking And Sex For All Eternity. I saw no reason to explore further.

2 - Ok, that blew my mind a little. No.
3 - Isn't he a cyclops? He used to be a cyclops.
4 - Who says there isn't?
5 - Because customers would consider themselves ripped off.
6 - Good question.
7 - No, turning your bag inside out just dumps a bunch of stuff on the ground. A bag of holding has an interior, it jsut holds more than it should. It's not a bag with a portable hole in the mouth.
