| jnrhayz07-22-04, 03:45 PM | I am developing an Elven Ranger. We are starting at 5th level. Basically my question is whether there is an updated Deep Wood Sniper anywhere in the D&D world... I like the prestige class, but I can tell it will be a lot different when updated to 3.5 and I basically don't want to spend the time updating it and finally getting it okayed by my current DM. Anyway, Thanks for any help. |

| jnrhayz07-22-04, 08:26 PM | Well, thanks for the info. It seems a little off on a couple things, but I will see if I still want it if that is the case. |
| danielinthewolvesden07-22-04, 10:04 PM | Absolutely the Opposite. It is broken, dropped, and needs a major re-write for 3.5. It is true that Living Greyhawk did allow old PrC's until they had been re-printed. However, in a way, CW came out and DWS should have been in there- and wasn't. Thus, it's dropped & dead. |

| jnrhayz07-23-04, 09:32 AM | Well, When it didn't come out in the complete warrior I thought there would be a complete wilderness book. However, the more I hear it seems that wizards is stopping with the complete adventerer book. Of course I can hope it will be in the complete adventurer, but the fact it is for shooting at long distances seems like it wouldn't fit well with the rogue type theme I believe that book will have. |
| ksbsnowowl07-23-04, 11:12 AM | Originally posted by jnrhayz it wouldn't fit well with the rogue type theme I believe that book will have. Sneaking and assassin-like sniping doesn't sound roguish? Could've fooled me. |

Then it is from as far away as possible and who would want to lose the rogue sneak attack bonus. But, I admit it is possible which is why I mentioned it. |
