Here is the situation...

We are to face a mature adult green dragon with tainted demon blood (presumed Tanarri) and we consist of the following...

10th level fighter
10th level mage
9th level gestault fighter/ranger
9th level rogue barbarian combo
9th level telepath psionicist

This is a low magic use campaign where we are limited by number of magic items and resources...

We aren't sure of exact details on what we are about to get into... very little healing capabilities.

I'm sure this question can be answered with a ton of different scenarios and our feats and the like are xfactors in the equation I know, but any hints as to how people would approach this scenario is welcome... thanks for the time and help.

What the heck is a Gestalt character doing in a NON-Gestalt campaign. I presume he overshadows the party on a regular basis?

As for your problem I suggest trying to TALK your way out of it. Short of that ambush the dragon, get someone to antagonize the beast to such an extent that it chases that character down. Then when it passes under the copse of trees your party is hiding in your drop from the skies like the vengeful fury of a god. Don't scoff either, this actually worked for my party. Course the guy who played bait got eaten. So I'd leave that part of the story out when you recount this to your fellow party members.

Good luck!
