Divine Grace outside Paladinhood [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-09-05, 10:56 AM Just a quick question. Is there a way to get the Divine Grace feature other than being a paladin (or other martial prestige class, I know there are a few)? I'm looking at building an exalted character, and it would be nice, but he's far from martial, so I don't want to spend levels in Paladin.

04-09-05, 11:04 AM The only other non prestige class I know of that gets it it the oriental adventures shaman (and it's call spirit's favor instead.) They don't get their ability until 5th level.

04-09-05, 02:57 PM Well, I'm not worried about whether or not its a prestige class. I just have to deal with the fact that I'm using Vow of Peace, so anything combat-oriented is not really useful. Thus, I want to avoid paladin, the holy warrior type. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the holy liberator. I'll try to get a hold of the book to take a look at it.
Anyone else?

04-09-05, 09:45 PM Well, Holy Liberator probably won't help you, then. It's basically a CG Paladin analogue.

04-09-05, 10:11 PM I'm pretty sure that is a paladin-only thing. Maybe there is some rare prestige class in a dragon magazine though that I don't know about.

04-10-05, 02:02 AM Hmmm... you could house rule a feat for it. Your DM may require prerequs, though; it's quite powerful.

The slayer of domiel (the LG assassin-like PrC from the BoED) gets it at level 2.
