DM Horror Stories, let's hear em. [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-18-06, 02:35 AM One of the topics I love reading about the most on these boards are gaming sessions or campaigns that are so horribly bad as to be funny. It's been awhile since I've seen one, so I thought I'd ask for some entertainment. Please share. :dancin:

Edit-Hm, I don't know why the link ain't workin', though... try copying & pasting this: "www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=gaming;action=display;num= 136938801"

There's a space at the end of "num=_" and I can't seem to edit it off without the filter adding it back on, so you'd need to do that yourself. Don't know what sort of filter is supposed to do that.

01-18-06, 03:51 AM In 2002, I was invited to this group. These guys were more interested in talking about their majors and work places and their favorite ____ than actually playing. I got there at 11:00 am, it took us until 4:00 to roll up our characters because of the constant distraction. At five I took orders and went out to get food just to get away. Around seven or so we got around to playing. I can't even remember what we accomplished. We killed an NPC, and captured some chick, and we ended play around 11:30 PM. Never have I seen, or heard of such a disorganized group.

The reason this is a DM horror story is because he was the worst one there.
