DnD Suppliment books. [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-13-04, 08:56 AM As i am planning to play in a new game very soon, and its been awhile since i have i was thinking about buying some of the newer books. I was wondering if there is anywhere to see a list and short description of the released books, i have browsed that Wizards DnD webpage and have been unable to find a diffinitive list and any help would be appriciated

If your DM is willing, there are a handful of decent 3d party sources out there providing content.

Some are even running holiday sales at $5 US a book, regardless of MSRP.

12-13-04, 10:38 PM Don't forget to ask the DM if you'll be allowed to use those books, before you go and buy them.

Because if the DM feels he doesn't want to start learning new stuff out of new books on the eve of the adventure, you'll have bought it for nothing. (well, of course you can always use it later, or in some other campaign, but still.)

12-13-04, 10:42 PM e-zor is absolutely correct. Always talk to the DM first, as I now have Complete Warrior, Complete Divine and a few others, and my DM forbids most of the PrC's for being to powerful.

12-15-04, 03:17 AM Not a problem, i always remember to ask my DM before i plan anything with new books, but i would still want to buy them simply because i love collecting the books. Some people collect stamps or cards or whatever, i collect the books :angel:
