Phaylan the Drow 08-30-05, 06:39 AM	:D consider a troll fighter with seige engine feats would he get this feat free as he is a fighter or would he have to still use a feat to get it. this is all for a troll char im thinking of, ranged fighter type or ranger with a composite longbow with equal str bonus on it........... this is not sick but it could be a lot of fun. see Terry pratchett's discworld's detritus for inspiration. :D
Clawhound 08-30-05, 02:37 PM	IŽd call a seige engine an exotic weapon. Exotic weapons can be bought using fighter feats.

nyysjan 08-31-05, 05:59 AM	ballistas are crossbows that are just larger than ordinary crossbows (-2 to attack per size category difference) and catapults demand profession siege engineer checks to load there are rules for them in the DMG no feats necessary, altough you could take normal weapon focus and specialization feats just like for any weapon
