BladeMage_1 10-09-04, 02:50 PM	I'm looking for a nice deluxe character sheet template, by this I mean that I'm looking for non-professional,not on-the-shelf,or downloadable PC sheets. I've tried doing my own on my microsoft word, which I did ok, but can't seem to fit all the details, such as: a large spell list that can list all spells that PC has(kind of like all the classes spells listed, and PC just checks them off once he/she aquires them) and the skills are a burden... bottom line, if anyone has anyway of sending me a HOME MADE character sheet template from microsoft word, or somthing, please tell me. thanks

Shadowmagyk 10-10-04, 02:49 PM	Well, I got around to look at it, and thanks, but are you sure the font is suposed to be that small??? please reply Yeah, I was looking at that at first, but I have printed many copies, and they are all of a good size. The idea for this template is that it is just that: a template. You should print some copies, and then WRITE the spell information on it. This ensures that the spellcaster in question is using only spells on his sheet, instead of having the entire spell list at his disposal. Treat this as his spellbook, and he has to actually copy spells into his "spellbook." This way, if the DM sunders the spellbook, or it gets stolen or lost, all the DM has to do is take away the papers on which the spells are printed. I know that it is a bit of work, but it isnt bad at all, once you get used to it. Sound good. By the way, this is the best template that I have seen for spell sheets. Oh yeah, the Cleric does not need to worry about the spell sheet that much, but it may be good for him to write down the spells that he will use most often. It also helps him with his domain ablilities and the like.
MortalPlague 10-10-04, 03:48 PM	Here's the custom sheet my brother drafted up. I modified it down from six pages so it fits on a single sheet, front and back. Generally, stats and skills and feats are on the front, and equipment is on the back. Jay's 3.5 D&D Sheet (http://www.fragilicious.com/mortalplague/DnD.zip) (In .doc format only, heavy use of tables, may not work with old versions of Word.)

Are you looking for a character sheet that is made with Microsoft Word that you could fill-in and print, or what? RPGSheets.com had a lot of resources for home-made sheets.
