| Epicweaver10-02-06, 04:27 PM | I'm joining an existing group as a player... I've DMed for the group up until this point (with these characters), but another player is taking a rotation at the DM chair (longtime DM and friend). The Current Party Human Spellthief5/Lurk2 (Mark of Finding) - rapier, trapfinder Elf Swashbuckler2/Ftr3/Devish2 - scimitar dancer Human Shadowcaster 6 - no clue what he does best (new character) The Sometimes-We'll-Be-There-Sometimes We Won't Players Human Wiz3/Clr3 - scorching ray fiend; headed towards MT Elf Scout 4 Is an artificer a good class to pick to "shine" in a group like this? If not, what would you suggest? Stuff I'd Like -Leadership... I wanted to have a warforged cohort. -Mark of Making... I was thinking of incorporating a good Cannith background and possibly line up Cannith Adept. -Extend/Persistent... I'd like to try to play a buff-support role, but still keep my ranged damage as solid as possible. |

And alround general good class. Whats not to love? Artificers fit pretty much anyware. the only time I'd be concerned is with a party made up solely of ashbound druids. |
