Does Spellwarp Sniper "Sudden Raystrike" qualify for Arcane Trickster? [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-05-07, 04:14 AM Hello, I am having a major issue trying to get Arcane Trickster. Does Sneak Attack +1d6 (from Spellthief) + +2d6 (from Sudden Raystrike via Spellwarp Sniper) count towards the pre-reqs for Arcane Trickster.

Any proof towards this?

05-05-07, 04:15 AM I would say no... you need 2d6 of real, honest to gosh SA dice.

05-05-07, 04:54 AM most of the classes that need SA dice allow sudden strike and such, as GM, I'd say yes, but you should ask yours before doing any questionable combinations, it is nicer and will save lots of pain in the end

05-05-07, 04:56 AM SS and Skirmish abilities are more basic then Spellwarp Snippers... they apply more boradly to more things. I think the above example is to situation specific to count... but yeah, as you mentioned, the DM of said game is the only opinion that truly matters.
