| Sheez05-27-06, 09:07 PM | Perusing Champions of Ruin, I've come across the Draegloth class and it seems like an interesting idea to add to my repetoire of characters. My only question considers the feat progression after the 10 levels of Draegloth have been taken. It says that feats are added at the standard progression for a character class, but how is that progression determined? I have a few theories: 1: After the 10 levels are taken, the Draegloth gains another feat at 12th, 15th, and 18th as a standard character of that type. 2: As the Draegloth gains feats at it's 1st, 3rd, and 6th Hit Die, the creature would instead gain levels at 13th, 16th, and 19th level. 3: The Draegloth is treated as a first level character, and gains a feat with its first character level, and then one two levels later, and another three levels after that, so feat progression would be 11th, 13th, 16th, 19th. Am I totally off-base with this? Has this been clarified somewhere that I haven't seen within my freakishly huge library? I'm just lookin' fer some direction, if anyone is kind enough to enlighten me. |

However, once the Draegloth begins taking class levels (I.e. his monster progression is complete), he would recieve feats at the same rate as any other character, based on his total Hit Dice. So, if a Draegloth finishes his monster levels with 8 HD, he will get a feat when he takes his first class level (9 HD). |
