:fight!: Is it possible to have two dragons as cohorts? is this possible with the leadership feat, or is this something which is almost impossible to obtain as a 10th level character?
I found two red dragon eggs and they hatched and I would like to keep them around as long as possible. Thank you.

Amy -

If you managed to get to 10th level and are still inexperienced...

It sounds like a very strange game and not very orderly. For instance,
Evil Characters are NPC only according to a strict interpretation of the
rules, so this group you are with... Hmmm.

My advice is to just go with the flow, this does not sound like a very
serious group.

Thank you for the advice. I reworded the question a little bit better.
I am only inexperienced in the sense that I have not read all the books and know as much as the other in my party. :)

Let's see.

:flicks open the Dracanomicon:

:teach: A red wyrmling has an ECL of 11 and an alignment of CE, you can subtract 3 from the ECL if you have the Dragon Cohort feat, which by itself allows you to attract a dragon cohort.

Should your DM be lenient you may be allowed to have 1 cohort per the Leadership feat and 1 per the Dragon Cohort feat, but I believe it says in the DMG that you can only have 1 cohort. (Not sure, cos I don't have it with me atm, but it's on page 106 somewhere. This I know because of a reference from in the Draconomocion. So you don't have to think I'm some moron who knows the DMG by heart :P)

This still presents you with the problem that a cohort needs to be at least 2 levels lower then you (I think?), so you'd really need the Dragon Cohort feat, other wise you'd have to wait 3 levels.

And ofcourse, you need to be evil yourself. Unless you can talk your DM into using the Book of Exalted Deeds and have a level 17+ cleric or wizard cast Sanctify the Wicked on your baby dragon in order to make ihm (or her) good aligned. But it's a costly process that takes a year by itself.

Or you could just Role Play it all really really well and hope for the best ;)

Cohorts can be up to 1 level under your max. They can be lower if you want I spose.

Thanks for the advice. I am aligned chaotic evil so I didnt have as many negatives when they hatched (i took the eggs after a good aligned party member killed the 'parent' and tended to them.) I will definatley check out that book later on. :dragon:
