I have a seen that class here http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20060912a&page=2

I think that it is a best version of the dragonshaman no? I know it's a kinda breath-like invocations class but it looks very good no?

This came up on another forum. Dragon Shaman and Dragonfire Adept are two very different classes. Dragonfire Adept is much more similar to Warlock, and a really bad Warlock at that.

Agreed. It looks to me like wizards used some super-glue and stuck the Dragon Shaman and Warlock together, added a couple of new, dragon themed invocations, and left it at that. Baleful Geas looks cool, but that's about it.

Wow, they really are just a bad warlock. Warlocks get a better DR (Cold Iron instead of Magic) and although the dragonfire adept gets fewer invocations, they don't have to spend them on blast shapes/effects. So in all.... its mostly a warlock for the dragon fanboys (and girls!).
