Is anybody going to reply to this 'cause me and my players are still arguing about it?

It won't affect them in any way outside of the normal effects. Earth genasi aren't made of stone, they simply have an earth type outsider somewhere in their ancestory. They would, however, be entitled to a save bonus (if a save applies, I'm not looking at my books), as I suspect it is an earth-type spell.

Earthquake is a [Earth] type effect. Earth Genasi get their racial save bonus on any earth type effect. Other then that they would be knocked down, crushed or such just as anyone else would be by and earthquake, depending on where they are when it hits.
