Hi all..this is my story (not that long)

Had a 7th level character that had a special place in a home campaing, died 3 three times before and was somewhow back to find the next one, those three times werent that interesting and made it back with standard Raise spells, well the fourth one was..

Fighting that badass Flayer on The Speaker on dreams he and his whole team died horribly after a short battle..god I'd only miss the mindblast save on a 1 and got it, so he sucked my brains out, dont know what else happened but my next character is supposed to resurrect the guy and thats the tricky part.
Raise dead wont work and neither Resurrection sience I dont have even a nail of the poor man, so i need true resurrection
(25,000gp) for a 7th level character, as i said due to campaign and my dm not wanting a god to resurrect him my 1st level cleric must do it.

HOW.........?
Whats the easiest way to raise 25,000 gp or find dimonds or such, HELP

Pretty much impossible w/out dm-fiat or crazy optimization cheese(also dm-fiat, I guess) for a first level character to come up with that much cash.

Best way are perminent creation spells...but of course that's impossible for a first lvl character (well...unless you come up with a loop that lets you create more $ than you pay out...but that's gm fiat now too, isn't it?).

The answer is simple. Rob a bank. :D

Have a druid reincarnate him. Much cheaper.

Here's the plan. Buy 71,429 10 foot Ladders (Should cost around 3571g) then break the sides of the ladder off to make 2 10 foot poles. Then sell the 2 10 foot poles for 2s each. Depending on the DM, this may take awhile, and the elves might hate you for clear cutting a lot of the forest.. But you'll end up with the 25,000g for a dimond! :) Good ol' DnD economy.

Noone is going to buy those 10ft poles which are full of holes for the ladder pegs.

Why not? They make the 10 foot poles faster!

Because its nowhere near as sturdy as a normal 10ft pole. Noone would buy it for full price.

Now you're just getting serious :P, besides adventurers don't use a 10 foot pole to be sturdy, they use them to bump walls and to check for traps 10 feet away.

Well you people 'seriously' think the wainwright has a use for 142858 10ft poles, even if he ignores the large holes all down the sides? Come on... its a stupid tactic which was funny the first two times it was put up. Noone ever expected it to work, and now people repost it so often its getting old.

Not really possible w/o severe help from the DM. I suppose you could get a loan from a really powerful being with a need of lackeys but, based on your penchant for dying, I doubt a sane benefactor could be found.

You be better off dead.

True. What's the point of having rules on death if the characters are, in practice, immortal?

Well, he can hire a druid to cast Wood Shape 4 times per day on the 142858 10 foot poles to make them sturdy 10 foot poles, it would only take 35714 days, or in the ball park of 100 years... if they're both elves, this is fine!

You could sell your services as both a spell caster and using the profession skill. Since profession is Wis based with max ranks at level one you should be able to make a 17 by taking ten without anything special. That gets you 8.5 gp per week. Since you get 3 0th level spells per day and 3 first level (including domain) if you can sell all of them every day you would be making another 45gp per day amounting to another 315gp per week. So you would be netting 323.5gp every week meaning it would only take you 78 weeks (assuming no living expenses at all) accounting for exactly one and a half years.

Now with living expenses this would take longer. Staying and eating at a poor in costs 2.1gp per week and that would cut your profit margin to only 312.9gp forcing you to spend another two weeks selling your services.

0.k thanks for the replys.
Im not even sure what i was expecting as an answer..
Im level 1 and im looking to have the gold be level 6 or so, our adventures arent that filled with gp or magic items for that matter. And im not allowed to capitilize like sell services or spells..i guess i was really asking for another spell or another way to bring the guy back and its not that the guy is inmortal or i cant let go we still need the guy.

Here's an idea: Have your character sell his soul and body to an unholy being in return for the other's life. See if you can get a quest for the level 7 to do at the same time. :P
