Does a half dragon who takes levels in a class that increases one elemental resistance but decreases another resistance, lose his racial resistance to one element? An example would be a half silver dragon who takes levels in the class that increases fire resistance but takes away from cold resistance. Thanks to all who help answer my problem.

As far as I know no core class or race offers energy resistance of any sort, so I would say yes - that's exactly what they're talking about.

Thanks but i am creating a class that is a fire dominant class. It has to have some sort of restriction though or it makes it overly powerful.

I will have to email any who want to see the class that I am building, because it doesn't fit right in the text.

I don't think this is a core class, but an Elemental Savant (Fire) (Which I am currently playing) can do this.

What book is the Savant from? I might have read about it but I can't remember. I usually don't have the money to buy the books.
