1.) if you energy substitue something like Fireball to a Acidball does it deal acid damage every turn as a acid flask would do?

2.) would a Acidball deal un-regeneratable damage to a Troll?

As with engery subsitution, as it says, treat the spell EXACTLY the same, just the elemental dmg is a different type. i had a question with a player about this too invovling the acid orbs and what not... the higher up ones do different things depending on the type... ie one made you do a fort save or be blind, other was entangled what not... changing the elmental dmg with engery subsituion just changed the dmg, not what save and the effect of that...
