| Surgo06-27-06, 11:30 AM | #2: And if you absolutely have to go, don't jump down random portals on the first layer. You'll end up in something nasty, like a layer of acid. You know, like the plane of water, but with acid instead! |
| capnwoodrow06-27-06, 01:20 PM | Can it be any black dragon? If so, I recommend a swamp as opposed to hanging out in the Abyss. If you just HAVE to go Abyss, find out everything you can about where this critter is hanging out: 1. Find out its name and pay a bard a couple hundred gold to get the life story of it. 2. If you can figure out what plane it is on, jump there for a day and have a diviner scry on it. 3. See if you can communicate with it extraplanar-like and ask it to come see you. Treasure can/should be offered. 4. Try and double check why an evil dragon is the reason the world will be righted. You can/should prepare for double cross. As for your level 15 feat, um, we have NO clue what sort of character you are trying to get your barbarian to be. Check the character optimization boards or post your entire character up for help on that issue. Oh, why the fark is a large red dragon following you around? We might need to talk to your DM....... EDIT: Hah, forgot how to spell feat |

The paladin is his bastard offspring, the half-orc is the paladin's opponent (the Red Dragon makes them beat each other up for his enjoyment). The Elves are for maintaining him, like butlers or maids... to provide a cushy lifestyle with their magic. The Red dragon and his slaves are there for a visit, in hopes of finding some unclaimed territory for a new lair (or territory claimed by someone weak enough to kill and steal it from). The whole group can then have a reason to be together in the Abyss. And, since you can say the slaves have been welll beaten/brainwashed and it cost alot to have them prepped as such, you have a reason for them all to openly work together. Having a cover is important. |
