03-29-07, 01:01 AM Turns out the monster who owned my archon monk is ECL 10 higher than the party and the DM keeps referring to whatever it is as his PC.

I would skip the first step and go straight to the second.

03-29-07, 01:55 AM Whenever the DM refers to "his/her PC," be prepared to make a run for the nearest exit. Some DMs can do it ok, but most cannot and its good to have an escape plan if things go south.

03-29-07, 02:29 AM I don't know, if your DM is saying that X NPC is his PC I honestly would suggest to just ask him: "Hey Steve, who is the game for? All of us (players and DM) or for you?

If he answers "For US", then just stick around. Maybe "his PC" is ment to be the BBEG for the end of the game.

If he answers "For Me". Then just walk out the door.
