| NecroticBanana03-25-06, 07:03 PM | i remeber when the Dragon magazine had power plays...little snippets of cheesy combos that i thought were fantastic. but i havn't seen any in a while...so what kind of insane combos has everyone put together for maximum effect, not to mention bewildiring the DM. be they magical, mundane or otherwise.. |

Hey! Welcome to the WotC boards. Go check out the Character Optimization: Challenge! board for some really mind-blowing effects. Don't expect most DMs to actually put up with the stuff there. It's the place where all the extra-powerful theory goes on. Not playable characters, mind you. Cheers Otto :) |
| sir_dwar03-25-06, 08:09 PM | Yah, he's right.... NO DM will EVER let you play Pun-Pun (Don't Ask, please!) |
| Otto the Bugbear03-25-06, 10:39 PM | It's not just Pun-Pun. He's just the cherry on top of the cake. The 3.5 CO Board Thread of World Records (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=292273) It's a good resource for players and DMs alike. For example, I personally have used stuff there that I wouldn't allow in any game I run. It's both an idea generator, and a warning system. Cheers Otto :) |
| taradusis03-26-06, 10:46 AM | I have been playing with the concept of a Drow male -preist of a death god/necromancer -inherited werebat template,in hybrid form this guy could fly, navigate by echolocation, cast arcane/divine spells and a wide variety of options without too many powerful ones, what I think of as all width,no depth. |
