where can I look it up? Unless someone can tell me how it's calculated, like when you fall from a wall or something...

1d6 per 10' fallen--max 20d6. The first 1d6 is always non-lethal in a less than 200' fall, and you can make a Jump check DC 15 as well as a Tumble check DC 15 to reduce the distance by 10 and make another 1d6 non-lethal.

A falling DMG? Hmm... I'd think it does about 1d3 * (height/10) damage, since it's lighter than your average stone block (though not by much... especially noticeable when carrying one, among three dozen other books, to a game).

I'm more experienced with the DMG used as an improvised weapon, personally.
