Jayr 04-02-05, 01:59 PM	I think it would be something like +2 to Listen and Spot checks for flying squirrel and +2 to Fortitude saves for banana slug. Flying snakes aren't animal type, so you can't get one, and it's slipped my mind what an echidna is, though I think it might be edible.

DM Zoc 04-07-05, 01:01 PM	As a reasonably-balanced suggestion, since all of the other familiars give effects which mimic feats, I would have the echidna familiar provide "Improved Unarmed Strike" as a bonus feat.

Koalas, +3 Climb Platypus, +3 Swim Opossum, +3 Spot, Climb, or gain Darkvision (If caster already has, improves by 30 feet) or Low-Lightvison.
