| Meat_Shield03-19-07, 12:02 AM | I thought there was a DND core feat, similar to the cosmopolitan feat in Forgotten realms, that let you pick 1 or more skills and those become class skills but I can't find it. Any one know where this feat is or am I going crazy? |

Any one know where this feat is or am I going crazy? You own Oriental Adventures? Versatile lets you choose any two skills and they are always class skills for you. |

| KurenaiYami03-19-07, 04:31 AM | Able Learner from RoD comes close. That with a dip into Factotum makes EVERY skill a class skill. Fun, that. |
| TwistedPuppy03-19-07, 10:03 AM | Maybe you're thinking of the Jack of All Trades feat, which lets you treat all skills as though you are trained in them. It doesn't change the skills that are cross class to class skills, though, IIRC. |
| Meat_Shield03-19-07, 11:22 AM | Hurm, thought there was something out of City Scape that let you pick x# of skill and make em class skills but couldn't find it. Can't use OA though Able learner might work ..jack of all trades won't work for what I need...More ranks ..wanted to get em w.o having to spend a gazillion skill points. Want to get enough tumble ranks for some of the nifty skill tricks out of Comp. scoundrel. |
| Rillek_Denar03-19-07, 03:56 PM | The guerrilla feats in complete warrior each give you two extra class skills. |
| Soluphobe03-19-07, 04:56 PM | There's something like that in Unearthed Arcana under Human Paragon. |
| Meat_Shield03-19-07, 07:22 PM | Hurm, couldn't find the guerilla feats in Complete Warrior. Do you know where abouts they are located at in that book? |
| Rillek_Denar03-19-07, 09:39 PM | Hurm, couldn't find the guerilla feats in Complete Warrior. Do you know where abouts they are located at in that book? Sorry, wrong fighter sourcebook. I meant Heroes of Battle. Page 97. |
| Ax_kidson03-19-07, 11:10 PM | Able Learner from RoD comes close.I thought Able learner made all skills class skills... the only thing is that you had to take it at first level and had to be a human (not sure about the human) |
| Flan03-19-07, 11:35 PM | City Slicker gives you Disguise, Forgery, Gather Information and Knowledge (Local). Cityscape web enhancement lets you trade Handle Animal for Gather Information, Knowledge (Nature) for Knowledge (Local), Survival for Sense Motive or Ride for Tumble. Martial Study gives you Sense Motive or Diplomacy or Tumble or Intimidate or Balance or Hide or Jump |

Not quite. You have to take it as a 1st-level Human, though if you use the "Skillful Half-Elf" variant from Unearthed Arcana I'd see about letting the Half-Elf take it, also. You do spend only one skill point on ALL skills. That's why a lot of people think it makes alls kills class skills. Here's the difference, though: you can still only have max ranks of (level + 3)/2 for cross-class skills. They're just cheaper to get. |
