| Mastermind02004-19-05, 07:59 PM | Okay folks so heres the scoop. I've written up a 7 Rogue/5 Zhentarim spy (13th level PC with a +1 LA for being a Tiefling) and while my skills were easy enough to pick out im having a terrible time with feats. My group has most of the supplement but pouring through them all would take a great deal of time. Anyone have any feats (and what books they come from) off the top of their heads that would be perfect for a spy? |

Focus on Dodge, Mobility, and Spring attack. With low hit points, you wanna get in and out as fast as you can. Check CV and PGtF for more feats that you can use. I don't have them on me right now, but I recall a few good ones that a spy could use. |
| Lobo1304-24-05, 07:09 PM | -As i am not completely familiar with the Spy PrC you mention, i can only offer this...what *TYPE* of spy do you wanna be? I agree with the above poster that skill emphasis feats are a good start...as for combat, it relaly depends on the other members or your group...while spring attack is useful for the not-so-stout combatant types that many spies model themselves after, maybe yours would be better suited to take team tactics feats fromt he completes...emphasis on the threat range, battlefield control, etc. aspects that a mobile warrior can bring tot he table. Bottom line: give us more info ont he group and yoru capabilities within that set (ie what is expected and/or needed from your slot) and we can give mroe detailed analysis of the situation. Lobo13, with a Troll's view of the world, sayign i really need to get to that meat loaf sometime today. |
