Ah'ite - here is the deal; a friend of mine is throwing a tourney (grand prize = $700 mystery prize and there are about 12 to 15 ppl expected to show up to play. The fighting starts tomorrow at noon and I am still not done with character creation - so, I thought I would put the rules and reg's here and see what you thoughtful people suggest.

And, if I get enough interest here on the boards, I would be happy to update the post with how the fight went - who won and what strategy they used, etc.

Here are the rules for character creation:

THE RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

All stats start at 8.... str 8 dex 8 con... blah blah blah, then you have 42 points to spend to enhance those abilities.* They cost one for one until 14, then*two more points for 15 and 16, three more for 17 and 18.* like this: for a 14 you spend 6 points, a 15 costs 8, 16 costs 10, for 17 spend 13, and for an 18 you must spend 16 points.* here is an example:

$75,000 to spend, up to 75% on any one item.* Items can be created.* They cost the market value, not the price to create it.* See the DMs Guide for how that works.* Although, you should note, that the type of item does not effect the price, so a cloak of invisibility that opperates just like the ring is the same price.* Potions may not listed, but*if the*spell exists in the players handbook there is a formula to create it.* All math must be checked by Sean ahead of time.

Any alignment is acceptable.

Poisons from the DMs Guide are allowed, but must be applied during combat.* Players will have to make appropiate checks for the application.* You may, likely, poison yourself, and poisons only work once.
