Final Fantasy Info [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-15-06, 11:25 AM I am wondering if anyone has turned Cloud Strife and/or Sephiroth into DND characters yet.

If anyone is wondering, they are both from Final Fantasy 7.

What? its an idiotic question, shouldn't be in this forum,and anyone can voice their comments about any post.

04-15-06, 01:11 PM both Cloud and Seph, particularly their AC versions, are epic characters.
to simplify things (and since FF can be considered a homebrew campaign setting), they are both epic fighters with setting-based feats like [use materia] and [limit break], and most probably have setting-based templates as well.

Do you spend all your time criticizing others because you have so little thought process that you cannot imagine your favorite characters, whether in books, movies, or video games, would be converted to the DND format??? Yes, other people have thought of this before. Dozens, if not hundreds of times. People just get tired of seeing the same thing over and over again is all.

Check the Homebrew board, someone over there has put together an incredibly good Final Fantasy d20 system, complete with classes, PrC, Materia, the whole nine yards, in a 70+ page PDF.

Check that out.
But just for the record, Cloud would be maybe lvl 15 by the end of FF7, while Sephiroth would be about lvl 20 with a template. Strong yes. Uber epic, no.
