Finding New Players [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-11-07, 11:27 PM I know there's a player want-ad section, but it doesn't seem to get much usage.

In the past I've always been close to friends who played, so finding a group wasn't a problem. For the last year or so I've been playing with a couple of really great girls, but that's coming to an end (work is moving me to Albuquerque).

So how did you all meet up with your current groups?

06-12-07, 12:06 AM A DM posted a notice about his frustrations in keeping a group together in the "Whats a DM to do?" forum. I posted I know how he felt, and if he wanted, I'd join his game. Bam, I got set up with 3 games from that, and ended up dropping one due to issues with one of the DM's. However, I found it pretty neat. It's all online though. Not the same as in person, but it is pretty convenient.
