A flametounge, the ranger becoming an arcane archer, a ring of regeneration, a the barbarian being able to play a legendary minotaur. Of course it got even more obsure from there including the Deck Of Many things the next adventure. (I of Course got killed by the dread wraith:mad: ) and getting dragons the next adventure. It was probaly my favorite set of adventures so far. and strangly we got to the highest lvl we ever did. |

We went to his place when his parents were out. Once it started it was over real quick. I have to say it hurt a little, but since then it has become easier and it does not leave me walking so funny...He promised that I would be the only one, but I found out later he had been playing Dnd with other people. It took a long time before I could trust another DM. ;) To be honest I can hardly remember. I wanted to be all powerful and have no weaknesses. I would whine if I things went against me.This lasted for sometime and I was a terrible player. I would cheat on my dice rolls. My actual first time was pretty brutal. Ended with my character having both legs ripped off by an ogre. I'm pretty sure that was my first game but I could be wrong. Might even have played tunnels and trolls or TMNT first. |

My friend had talked to me about his first time playing (a couple weeks earlier) about how he was a Warforged Monk, and there was a Wizard who named him Shiny. He warned me of a pit trap that had a dire rat in it. The fun thing is, my DM used the rule where three natural ones meant instant death with an attack roll, so when the rat launched at my friend, it exploded before making contact. My first character, a Warforged Samurai, fell into the same trap, with the same rat, and it again, rolled three natural ones and exploded. Good times. Though I really do think the DM must have fudged those rolls. I mean, what are the odds of that? *Does math.* One in sixty four million. Yeah, there may have been fudging, but it was still cool. |
