Flurry of Blows! [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-02-06, 05:05 PM I wasn't sure exactly where to put this so here it goes.

A friend of mine were talking today, and we were wondering, would a Thri-kreen monk get more attacks for a flurry of blows than a standard monk would because of their extra pair of arms?

11-02-06, 05:18 PM Flurry of Blows (Ex)

When unarmored, a monk may strike with a flurry of blows at the expense of accuracy. When doing so, she may make one extra attack in a round at her highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a -2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round. The resulting modified base attack bonuses are shown in the Flurry of Blows Attack Bonus column on Table: The Monk. This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of opportunity the monk might make before her next action. When a monk reaches 5th level, the penalty lessens to -1, and at 9th level it disappears. A monk must use a full attack action to strike with a flurry of blows.

No he gets one and only one extra attack using flurry.

11-02-06, 05:26 PM Though he could multiweapon fight and get those attacks, mind you at major penalties.

Or at least I'm pretty sure he could...

11-03-06, 04:25 PM I believe he could do multi weapon, but it generally result in him just wildly flailing about and hoping one of them hits. Taking the lots of attacks and hope one hits method over the one attack your pretty sure will hit.
