Focus(ed) (spell)Caster? [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-22-07, 03:27 PM I found a wizard variant somewhere called Focused Caster, or Focus Caster, or Focused Spellcaster or something. It allowed for wizards to sacrifice familiars or feats to get special abilities as they gained levels based on their specialization. Now I can't find it again. Any ideas?

02-22-07, 03:32 PM I think it is in Unearthed Arcana. Be careful, all the rules and ideas there are OPTIONAL and no DM is under any requirement to use them - talk it over with your DM first.
