| Friss_Kervrask02-01-06, 12:33 PM | Hello. Here's the problem : Can we make a room-like Force wall (5th level spell or like that). I mean, use Force wall to create a cube of 5ft by 5ft by 5ft. Let me explain. In a game, another player is a Barbarian / Exotic Weapon master / Frenzied Berzerker. When he is into frenzy at the end of the encounter, the mage use Force Wall to make the Berzerker inoffensive by prison him. Me, the rogue, sustain that he can't do it because of the 7th level spell : Force Cage. What is the utility of Foce Cage if we can do the same with lower-level spell. And the mage doesn't have access to 7th level spells. I really need arguments. Thanks, and good day? |

| Friss_Kervrask02-01-06, 12:38 PM | I know. But thank you, I'm glad that I'm right. :) But the problem is that he don't want to understand. |

Yes, if he casts the spell 6 times, 4 sides a top and a bottum. N0, if he only casts it once, hence the name WALL of Force. P.S. I really hope English is a second language for you. |
| Friss_Kervrask02-01-06, 12:42 PM | Yes I'm french. (from Quebec) |
| Feriin02-01-06, 12:45 PM | Ah , that explains it. Pretty good english for a second language. |
| Friss_Kervrask02-01-06, 12:45 PM | Thank you. :D |
| Callista02-01-06, 04:26 PM | There's really nothing that says you can't use Force Wall to block him off from the rest of you, though, is there? Put your berserker in one half of the room, you in another... he can't get to you. Same as if you *had* cast forcecage. |
| Friss_Kervrask02-01-06, 04:43 PM | Yes I know but my question was if we can prison him. It's because of when we were into plains. But I had my answer already. Thanks |
| Mit Ratten Lebt02-01-06, 04:59 PM | For the record, you could effectively imprison him with three castings. A triangle works just as well as a box. |
| Surgo02-01-06, 05:45 PM | For the record, you could effectively imprison him with three castings. A triangle works just as well as a box. Uh, how you make a closed three-dimensional object out of three two-dimensional planes? I guess it's possible if you use the ground... |
| turtlemonkey02-01-06, 06:22 PM | 3 castings could make a triangle, and an open top.. i cant remember, but if u could make a sloped wall you could do a closed top in 3 castings (think like a pyramid where instead of 4 sides, you have 3 sides that go to a point), and the ground being the bottom |
| strcpy02-02-06, 10:33 AM | you mean like a d4? |
