I couldent figure out how to make the chart pretty, but you're all clever people so im sure you can figure it out. Any help or advice is welcome. If you think that this class can be fleshed out just let me know. Balanceing issues? I know that the Spellthief isnt that great for multiclassing. Any ideas to make this a worthy class? Thanks a bunch.

Class Features

Opportune Thief- Whenever the Fortune Thief is granted an attack of opportunity, He may forgo his attack and instead make an immediate Slight of Hand check to lift an item off the target. This action does not provoke an attack of opportunity, as long as the Fortune Thief succeeds. The DC for Sight of Hand checks of opportunity is + 5, however the target’s opposed spot check suffers a – 2 penalty due to obvious distractions. At 3rd level the Fortune thief may also make a free Slight of Hand check against any opponent who successfully grapples him in conjunction to his Escape Artist check to get free of the grapple.

Sneak Attack-If a Fortune Thief can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from his attack, he can strike a vital spot for extra damage.

The Fortune Thief’s attack deals extra damage any time her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the Fortune Thief flanks his target. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.
With a sap (blackjack) or an unarmed strike, a Fortune Thief can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. He cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual -4 penalty.

A Fortune Thief can sneak attack only living creatures with discernible anatomies—undead, constructs, oozes, plants, and incorporeal creatures lack vital areas to attack. Any creature that is immune to critical hits is not vulnerable to sneak attacks. The Fortune Thief must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A Fortune Thief cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment or striking the limbs of a creature whose vitals are beyond reach.

Pilfer Fortune- Whenever the Fortune Thief is able to make a sneak attack, he may forgo dealing 1d6 worth of damage in order to drain 1d6 points from a save of his choice from the target. The Fortune Thief may add these points as a luck bonus to his own save of the same name. These points return to the original target at a rate of one point per minute (if the original target is dead, they are still disappear at the same rate). At 5th level the fortune thief may forgo dealing 1d6 points of sneak attack damage to drain 1d6 points from the target’s armor class. These points are added to the Fortune Thief’s armor class as a luck bonus. These points return to the target at a rate of one point per min.

Skilled Thief- At 3rd level the Fortune Thief has further developed his mundane skills. He gains Skill Focus-Slight of Hand as a bonus feat.

Why can only spellthieves and not the core rogue take this class?

Actaully since Slight of Hand isnt even on the Spellthievs list, it was going to be a manly rogue pretige class. I posted this on another location with some edits.
