So we just finished RHoD and it was decidedly anti-climatic and funny.

As I've mentioned before, I've used Ectoplasmic cocoon successfully against airborne dragons. Sadly useless against anything else, but brilliant against dragons.

Short story :
Dragon outside Tiamat's temple : Dropped over the canyon, not killed but heavily injured.

Half dragon cleric of Tiamat (Last boss but one) : Cocooned & CDG in round 2

Aspect of Tiamat : (Ok, DM might have fudged a few rolls) Cocooned & CDG round 1. Failed CDG fort check by 1.

How did ya CDG?
The cocoon covers target... How did you strike through it?

Do enough damage and you break it, as your aiming for the dragon, the cocoon pretty much acts as DR.

Though like I said, some fudging probably occured.

I wouldn't say we play 100% RAW everything has to be precise and accurate. We kinda play for fun, so the occasional rules slip up happens.
