Korvara_Verndari 04-20-07, 09:45 PM	Alright, I've got a group that is starting a new gesalt campaign (I'm the group's resident rules lawyer) and there was a question about if the power points stack between the two classess. My first thought/gut reaction was sure, not having read the gesalt rules in a while and never having played a campaign with them, but then I thought about how Base Attack/Fort/Ref/Will don't stack and how it would probably be the same way with the Power Points. Any suggestions/comment/help would be warmly received. DM said that he would hold off ruling until I got this posted and had a couple of days to get answers back Kor

Drag0nUL 04-20-07, 10:43 PM	According to RAW I don't think they stack, though for the game balance they should. After all, when you play a gestalt cleric/paladin for example(or wizard/duskblade) you get 2 spell lists,
Tempest Stormwind 04-20-07, 11:02 PM	In the case of a multiclass, they share. In the case of gestalt, it's one of many parts of that variant rule you'll need to ask your DM about, since nothing's written on the subject. The Psi boards have generally accepted that power points are shared in a single pool in gestalt, but several DMs rule the other way. What definitely does NOT happen, though, is that you only get the better of the two. You DO get both allotments of power points; what matters is if they go to a single pool or not. (Generally, the psi boards say yes, since that's how all of psionics works.)
