I'm trying to find a good PrC for my rogue, but I can't seem to find any I really like. I tend to focus on sneaky skills, like Move Silently and Hide in Shadows, and stuff like that. Any suggestions? Are there any good ones in the Complete Adventurer (I'm buying that at the end of next month, and I hope it's good).

I'm using hadowdancer for mine, it fits her background well, and as she gets -2hp per level she has to be sneaky

What book is it in? I take it it's a spellcaster type of PrC?

Complete Adventurer is arguably the best of the Completes. I loved it, and there are several good rogue PrCs in that book.

Well, I'm embarassed. I read Shadowdancer as Shadowmancer. Thanks, I completely overlooked this PrC. It's actually pretty cool. I may take a few levels in it until I grab Complete Adventurer.

One of the best rogue prcs in the complete adventurer is the thief acrobat. Other than that mainly the prestige classes in complete adventurer require a mix skills/feats/spellcasting that can only (usually) be obtained through multiclassing.

I agree with Gorf - both on thief acrobat and the other PrCs in Complete Adventurer.

Unless they heavily updated it, I'm not a fan of the Thief-Acrobat (I have the old Song and Silence book). But the more I look at the Shadow Dancer the more I love it. I think I found my niche!

You may also want to look into the hoard stealer(I think that\'s what it\'s called) PrC in theDraconomicon. I dont have the book on me so I can\'t tell you the details cause I don\'t remember them.

The new thief-acrobat is only 5 levels long and was actually previewed on the website. Check it out. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20041210b&page=3)

If you have access to Oriental Adventures, take a look at the Ninja Spy (it is far better than the name suggests...).
