I can't believe I'm asking this, but I had to verify this: When grappling, do your iterative attacks suffer penalties? If I'm a 6th-level fighter and I'm grappling someone, are my checks at (+BAB+Str+size&stuff)/(+BAB-5+Str+size&stuff)? Or are they all at full BAB?

I don't believe you get iterative attacks. Just the one grapple.

If you're initiating the grapple, they suffer the cumulative -5 penalty like all other iterative attacks. If you're defending, you always use your unmodified grapple bonus. That makes it pretty tough to hit on anything but the first (and possibly) second grapple attempt unless you're WAY better than your opponent.

Okay...just making sure. I usually stick to my spellcasting, so combat ain't my forte. :)
