Diefreak 03-25-05, 08:42 PM	sigh whaaaaa .i'm a level 5 wizard and i havent touch a gold peice ,see what happens is the bastard does pick pocket and he takes everyone's gold.I attack him alot but i never kill him couse he has a stupid Scout all over his case.My DM says to get at him put i can't cuz we have a paladin,sucks.He always get's us in trouble and steals church money.He wants to build a home for him self and i have a shy 60 gold peices.Any suggestions....

The simplest thing to do (and he's an obviously evil character, so you can do this without suffering alignment penalty) is to set him on fire at night. Just go buy a shovel, and pour the burning logs from a raging fire into his bed.

Bringslite 03-25-05, 09:18 PM	If you suspect that your cash is being stolen but haven't caught him "in character" there are many things you can do. One example: Cast Magic Mouth on your pouch. Command it to scream "Thief!" when anyone but you touches it. Once you can prove the rogue is the one stealing your gold the paladin should back you up on chasing him away. If you can already prove "in character" that your rogue is the thief and the paladin ignores this then you are in a strange game indeed.
Diefreak 03-25-05, 09:22 PM	hey thanks for the help and all but he's got a scout helping him/always on his nuts and he apperantly starts truoble in town.Now i don't want the paladin to hunt me for killin him and his scout and his new lv 1 char whatever it is will kill me.But you know what i think i'll let him die naturally by a monster since i cast powerfull spells.Thanks for the help though

Clawhound 03-28-05, 12:19 PM	Ideas: Convert your money to rare incense, spell equipment, etc. Convert your money to jewelry and wear it. Spend your money on spells ASAP. Refuse all offers to lend you money. Work out a plan to trap the weasle. In the end, this won't work. The thief is determined to get his power trip in. You DM doesn't seem inclined to help you. You will have to do what the rogue does, and do things in secret with the DM.

Diefreak 04-03-05, 12:24 PM	ok in DnD you play by real life..The paladin is not there to see nor deos she know about this and the dm says blast his ass which i will BUT he says he's being into character and the paladin is not knowing thins even if they say out loud in the table where sitting at.Thanks for the tips though......
Fanatic-Templar 04-03-05, 03:02 PM	I don't understand half of what you say, but if he's using "acting in character" as an excuse, ask yourself this: If an NPC did this, how many sizzling pieces of random anatomy would be scattered across the multiverse? And NPCs ( usually ) always act in character, so it's okay. If he whines, tell him that you were also "acting in character". I'll wait for you to explain the rest, because I don't understand.
Diefreak 04-04-05, 09:35 AM	ok my dm says that the paladin has to be there with the theif to hear anything he says so like if we all are at diffrent shops in town he will head to the church or pick pocket towns folk and he's level 5 and has slight of hand +9 so i dubt he fails but if where talking we can't listen to each other cuz where not there like the theif ( lol ) scouts ahead so we have know idead what he see's even if we here the dm talking and if he's dead that's cool with me lol everythings ok know becouse i'm a 5th level wizard and i can blast him with deadly spells and i got a bag of holdings.So that the gameplay and i think i DON'T NEED ANY MORE REPOST BUT THANKS ANY WAYS....

So the next time the paladin detects evil, they show up as evil right next to him...which means smite time right? Unless the church they stole from ain't a good church. Even then stealing from party members is still evil too...so they are evil period.
ridiculous 08-12-05, 03:21 PM	Punctuation is your friend really because now I bet you have trouble understanding me because punctuation really helps a lot in maintaining a clear line of thought in a post i'm serious it really helps but I must say yer grammor errars reely donth elp eiter. Now putting that aside, just kill the bugger while he sleeps, or better yet, steal everything from him, knock him out and bring him to the guards or something. And please do so with punctuation...
