| The_Apathetic_Despot12-13-06, 08:50 PM | if you're willing to loose a level of wizard, you could take a level of dread necromancer from heroes of horror, which would give you an at will negative energy touch attack which would heal a lich. |
| Artector12-13-06, 08:56 PM | Get some Potions of Inflict (x) Wounds. Or you could just hit yourself: lich without natural weapons has a touch attack that uses negative energy to deal 1d8+5 points of damage to living creatures Its negative energy. A possible alternative: Or you could spend a feat on Leadership. Have him be a cleric that worships to you and attends to you. (Damn, just thought of Redcloak from OOTS) |

| MareltEkiran12-13-06, 10:05 PM | This requires the Complete Mage handbook to pull off... Specialize in Necromancy (which is not a bad choice for a lich anyway). Then, at 4th level and all levels thereafter, until 13th level, take levels in Master Specialist (which is a PrC in Complete Mage). At 13th level you get the major school esoterica, which can be used three times per day. For necromancy, it is as follows: "When you cast a Necromancy spell, undead allies within 60 feet gain fast healing 10 for 5 rounds." The word "allies" generally includes the caster himself, unless specified otherwise. So if the caster is undead, he gains the same benefits. Every time you use this ability, you get a total of 50 points of healing, three times per day. Not bad for a wizard, given that you don't have to use extra spells for it. Also, the Master Specialist class gives pretty good bonusses to all spells of your selected school, which is worth it in it's own right. If your character can somehow scrape together a Wisdom of 16, then you could also consider getting the Arcane Disciple feat in the Destruction domain, which would allow you to prepare one inflict light wounds, one inflict critical wounds and one harm per day. |

Potions of Inflict Wounds? Elixir of Harm? I think there are some arcane negative energy spells that will buff/heal undead as well; though these do not come readily to mind. |
| allenchan12-13-06, 10:13 PM | Say the lich constructed a shadesteel golem (mm3) or two. They send out negative energy bursts, that would simultaneously heal their master and hurt anyone else. |
