Duffnial_Quickthew 03-29-06, 10:58 PM	Hey, guys. I am in need of some advice for a Dwarf character in the works. He is going to be a warrior of some sort, but I haven't quite decided exactly what... Please post your advice! I am looking for something a bit different, and I believe that your experience can help out. The campaign that I am going to be joining takes place in a custom setting in which the Dwarven territories have gone to war with an Elven kingdom. The players have ended up on the side of the Dwarves and my character will be introduced soon. The theme of the game, according to the existing players, is War is H**l. I need to come up with a great idea for a Dwarf bruiser-type. The party already has a tank (a half-Ogre bar 1/ftr 4), but I love to play melee characters. Already have a cleric and a rogue/ranger scout guy. So he doesn't necessarily have to be the party tank/bruiser/etc, but like I said, I love a good melee. I really like the concept of the Dwarven waraxe and that it comes as a martial weapon for me. But I like warhammers quite a bit, even though their stats in the game are a bit lackluster. I can get around that, if the rest of the character can make up for it. I was thinking about a build that would get me to the Hammer of Moradin PrC (the dm said he could easily modify it to the current setting) but is it really worth getting away from my basic classes? Are there any other PrCs that would make sense for this guy? I have seen a lot of support for the Weapon Master PrC on these forums, but i don't know if that makes sense for a dwarf with an axe. Keep in mind the not liking Elves very much part. I don't want to focus on hating elves and then end up fighting something else down the line and coming up short. What do you think? I am talking weapons, equipment, specific character build... throw it all at me and I'll try to flesh this out. Thanks for your help, in advance!
