Help for a future ninja? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-07-05, 05:55 AM Long story, my DM is allowing for second characters for some players, though most of us are new to the game, because we need more for the campaign. Anyways, I was told there was a ninja class and such, but only one person has the book I need to know what I need to do to make a ninja class character. So I ask you, people of the boards, help me make my ninja. Also, my character has been granted a starting level of 7, 300gp, and basic equipment. I await your sage-like assistance. *Bows many a time*

Yeah, check out Complete Adventurer. OA has ninja as a PrC, but it isn't that good.

Yeah, check out Complete Adventurer. OA has ninja as a PrC, but it isn't that good.

i went to get my dragon magazines because i remembered from awhile ago a ninja base class that looked good. i get it and it is the exact copy of the ninja class in CAd with the following exceptions:
ghost walk which they get at lvl 20 is instead called ghost form. the dragon magazine was released april '04 (issue 318)

08-08-05, 12:15 AM Personally I think the Rokugan Ninja is far more flavorful and realistic then the CV ninja, but both are good. LN Rokugan Ninja/Monk is tasty.

08-08-05, 12:48 AM You are all wrong. The correct way to kill a ninja is to kill off the entire party by attacking them in broad daylight straightforward while wearing a long flowing red scarf and screaming a battlecry.

Don't worry, you will always win, because you are a ninja and ninjas are unbeatable.

Of course slitting their throats while asleep works too, but dont worry! Because you are a ninja, it is honorable!

ninjas don't sleep and are immune to all ranged attacks (proven fact)

08-08-05, 02:45 PM The CAdv ninja sucks, use the Rokugan one. I suggest Ex-Monk 2/Ninja 4/Thief-Acrobat 4/Shou Disciple 5/Ninja 5 as a good ninja build.
