mwaddoups 08-25-05, 05:18 AM	I need help with making my first character sheet. I have read the players handbook but can still not work out where sopme of the stats go, (like where do weapons go) and weather you have 1 for the whole character or one per campaign. Could someon please show me a filled in character sheet so I can work out ho w they work and where to put everything?
MarkB 08-25-05, 05:47 AM	I'm pretty sure the Player's Handbook still includes a filled-in sample character sheet at the back. Your character sheet represents a specific character, so it is independent of any particular campaign. If you finish one campaign and start another with the same character, you use the same character sheet - and if your character dies and you bring in a new character in the same campaign, you make a new character sheet. The standard character sheet includes places to list stats for a few weapons. If your character has more weapons than the sheet has spaces, write the stats for the other weapons in the margins, or find a custom character sheet with more space (there are plenty online, and a Google search should locate them easily enough).
mwaddoups 08-25-05, 07:15 AM	I could not find a filled in sheet anywhere in the book. There is the blank sheet at the back, then index, glossary then into spells andall the other chapters.
MarkB 08-25-05, 06:20 PM	Sorry, I was misremembering. The original 3rd-edition Player's Handbook included an example character sheet, but I guess they dropped it from the revised edition.
