Help making an awakened dire leopard. [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-19-07, 02:19 AM Okay I play a druid who has just picked up an awakened Dire leopard. The intelligence and charisma bonuses as well as its languages have all been rolled by the DM. He wants me to find how to make him Dire. So my question is where can I find a WOTC approved template or atleast some sort of guidelines for making a animal dire. I would appreciate a book and a page but any help is welcome.

03-19-07, 03:15 AM You don't take the leapoard and make it dire, you use a dire leapoard. If there is no dire leapoard, use a similar creature, such as a tiger or wolf. Just say it's a leapoard.

03-19-07, 09:38 PM I've always wondered why Wizards didn't put out a template for making animals into Dire animals. Plus, in the MMII, there is a Dire Elk, but a normal elk is not in any book. Why?
