I want to create a new magic item, but I'm not sure what the price should be.
Here's the ability, also a name would be awesome.

This item activates on its own whenever the creature wielding it has half its hit point (counting both lethal and non-lethal damage). When the item is activated, it heals the wielder 3 point of non-lethal damage per round until there are no non-lethal damage left to heal, in which case the item deactivates.

I was thinking, if the price for this item is way too high for a level 9 character, perhaps you could add a total amount of non-lethal damage the item can heal per day, something like 50 points or something, I don't know.

remember its non-lethal dmg it heals. The base case i would see this being used in is recovering you from unconciensceness(meh i cant spell that).

I was thinking on using it with my Frenzy Berserker... I really don't like more damage being dealt on top of attacks from the enemy.

i would say thats it is:

1) a wondrous item

2) continious use item

3) cursed item

4) lesser version of Cure Light Wounds (or Cure Minor Wounds)

I would say it cost:

2000gp x 1 (for spell level) x 3 (for caster level) (= 6000 gp)

x 1,5 (for non-custom space) (= 9000 gp)

But cause its cursed with the fact it only is activated at the trigger you said i would say it cost 30% less.

thus 9000 x 0.7 = 6300 gp

That's definitely not a cursed item. Cursed items hurt you. This just doesn't help you that much.

I think a lot of the restrictions you're putting on it are unnecessary. This is already going to be pretty narrow in it's application, so letting work on any and all non-lethal damage doesn't seem unreasonable. That should still run you less than 10k.
