There are a bunch of variants so stay with me. 1. It's in Eberron. 2.My DM is lenient and a little stupid when it comes to this. 3.I'm a drow without spell resistance and is a +0 race. I'm also variant of ranger where i don't get favored enemy or spells. I get animal companion at first though and I can get a modified animal. i.e. celestial panther, shadow panther, fiendish, and etc. 4.I'll be somewhere in between 5th and 7th level. 5.He is allowing me to try to make a prestige class that will have some magical ability to bestow a template or improvement on my "animal" companion. So what I ask is should I try to get a wizard to help, or get in contact with an outsider, or make that prestige class(and if so what should I make it like), or some other good idea. Help!
