help me think of something fun to play [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-15-04, 03:18 AM hey all im just trying to think of some kind of fun thing to play. good for roleplaying and actual game play. classwise i mean ill pcik a race from there.

the party im in is 3rd level and has a bard and a swashbuckler so were good for combat and support and a face.

i was a skill rogue but in this adventure my dm kind of skrewed me over for it (made us do checks using the very few skills i didnt have)

so i was wondering what yo all thought was a fun class to play

11-16-04, 03:27 AM If you have Complete arcane, you should play a bloodmage. Not just any bloodmage but a half-orc, and take the scribe tattoo feat and eschew materials. Then travel with almost no gear. Imagine brewing potions in your blood while in a dungeon crawl. HOW COOL!

11-16-04, 03:47 PM Could use the Warmage from Complete Arcane, uses light armor and light shields without spell failure, has access to aton of evocation spells. Only down side limited to simple weapons.

11-17-04, 12:30 AM Play a human monk 2nd/sorcerer 1st have it be LG alighnment. For your 1st level feats take sacred vow and vow of poverty. You will be able to take a 3rd feat and take Nymphs kiss (all 3 of these are in book of exalted deeds).
From there taake 2 more levels of sorcerer and then take 10 levels of Enlightened Fist (from complete arcane), then for your last 5 levels take Kensai (from complete warrior).

Hope you like it, going to be a very fun character to play.
