I have a character in mind, but I don't know what Alignment he would be?

Airslay is a fast talking, street magician that impresses crowds with his quick hands, wit, and abit of apprant magic. Those who figure him out, slight him, or are the targets of contracts he recieves die. If he has to do the act in public, it is quick and quiet, but if the act can be done in private, he takes his time and learns everything the mark knows. When not performing or playing (as that is what his jobs are to him), Airslay introduces himself as a Sorceror of minor power, always wearing long sleeves to cover the wands hidden on his forearms. The young human tries to keep prestigious company to make up for having had peasant parents whose pickled hearts are kept in a hidden cupboard along with the hearts of every play-toy he has had.

If this seems familiar, I have a thread on character development helping to name him...

That can go in many directions alignment wise. We really need more information.

Any good is the first alignment I throw out. The whole money for killing people intentianally tends to be non good. Adventuring is one thing, but that is another... Next I feel he isnt really lawful. He kills people who find out who he truely is and that means he is habitually breaking the law.

Final result is any nongood, nonlawful. Need more info for more.

PS Alignment is retarded. I wouldn't choose one and play your character normally and when it comes up look at your actions and figure it out. Doing one or many evil acts doesn't mean you are automaticly evil. Don't let alignment be a strightjacket, so ignore it!

Chaotic Neutral. If you slip into evil during the course of the campaign, you slip into evil and you'll deal with it.

I agree, and that is why I have waited until everything else about the character was developed before setting that. The Law-Chaos axis is the one I am most curious on, as I plan on Airslay having some ranks in something like Profession(Torturer) and Craft(Poisonmaking). He's a Rogue that uses his Slight of Hand + Bluff + UMD + wands to support his claim as a Sorceror. Assasin PrC goals, as that is what he is for fun.

Chaotic Evil, possibly Neutral Evil. He's a shyster and a complete bastard through and through, who clearly has an inferiority complex if he feels he has to kill people who figure out he isn't a sorcerer.

I'm leaning towards NE. Definately some sorta evil. Or Chaotic Butthead, if that's an option :)

To be fair, the reason he kills the people is to maintain his cover. And because he likes to. Hmm, maybe the reason he passes himself off is because of an inferiority complex? He IS embarassed by his peasant roots.

Something to think about
