ryan973 01-14-07, 08:55 PM	I recently took the feet craft construct mainly just so i could have someone protect me wile i cast. The rest of the partys tactics are not alwase too good. I have a caster level of 10. So any suggestions for a good effigy creature?
Rillek_Denar 01-14-07, 10:56 PM	Since the base cost of an effigy is based on its size and its HD, I would say try to get the most bang for your buck. To me, that means finding a creature no larger than Large, but something that has a decent number of HD. I'd use a Frost Giant myself.
Yokomohoyo 01-15-07, 02:51 AM	I would suggest to make a sort of stone golem... They are nice with DR and they are medium size so you wont have to spend too much gold...
primemover003 01-15-07, 04:05 PM	Very Young Red Dragon, Large, 10HD. The wizard in one of my campaigns used this effigy to devastating effect as a gun platform/mount and as the heavy fighter in his group. It was tough to build encounters around this construct.
ressurrector 01-16-07, 04:32 PM	You want a high ratio of CR to HD. This generally means lots of abilities. Look for something with 10HD and a CR of 12+
