Okay, we're starting a new campaign pretty soon and I'm having a hard time coming up with a feat for my character. I usually play Tank types (typically Dwarven Paladins) so this is new territory.

My character is a Moon Elf (Forgotten Realms) Druid who will eventually be a Fochlucan Lyricist so there is a good deal of multiclassing in his future. (Druid, Bard, and Rogue are required to get into this PrC)

Here are his stats (I rolled very well)...

STR 11
DEX 15
CON 10
INT 12
WIS 16
CHR 18

So, I'm having a tough time coming up with his first level feat. Any advice would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

improved initiative is a classic, and dodge/mobility are nice because they open up alot of other feats.

What's your primary focus?
spellcasting, ranged fighting, melee, special stuff (like wildshape, bardic music)

Find some good feats that will enhance your main area of focus, and see if they have any pre-requisite feats.

Spellcasting Prodigy is another good one

The much-maligned Dodge is actually a rather decent choice. All your classes can suffer from lack of AC and wild shaped creatures aren't known for high values there, too. Mobility later on isn't bad, either.

Druids don't get that many spells per day and that gets even worse when multi-classing. So Scribe Scroll might work out fine, too. Although I'd recommend taking Brew Potion instead once you reach caster level 3.

Two-Weapon fighting is a common tactic for rogues and bards, and maybe even for wilde-shaped druids (apes...).

You won't have too much AC, hit points and spells for quite a while, so in combat you could be quite useful as a support archer, where taking Point Blank shot is the usual introduction. Works fine for Druid spells like Produce Flame, too. If your ability scores aren't too high, Zen Archery is pretty useful.

Parties where Druids are the primary divine casters usually respond very happily when they take Spontaneous Healing...

Thanks for the replies.

Due to the requirements of Fochlucan Lyricist he will not be advancing very far in any particular class, so Wild Shape will not be an option for this character.

His level breakdown will be

Druid 3, Bard 3, Rogue 3, and then I haven't decided what class will be made level 4 before taking levels in the Prestige Class.

We already have a character dedicated to archery (human crossbow specialist) in the group and we also have a Dwarven Fighter so the tank role is taken so I don't need to focus in either of those roles. I really decided on this prestige class because I tend to be the guy who fills the gaps in our group and this PrC is the ultimate gap filler. I think if I had to pick an area of focus for this character I would say social skills.

Spellcasting Prodigy is out because it is not an available feat for the region we are starting in.

Right now I am leaning towards Dodge but I'm not sure this character will be in melee enough for it to be worth while.
