Help with Half-Elemental LA (3.0) [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-17-05, 01:01 PM Need to know the LA's for the Half-Elementals in 3.0.

.pdf I downloaded has racial traits blah blah blah but no LA.

03-17-05, 06:38 PM I'd advise going with roughly the LA of the Half-Celestial or Half-Fiend. Deduct one from LA if the elemental type doesn't allow "natural" flight (I don't think any of 'em do.)

These sorts of templates (phrenic, half-fiend, etc.) are tough to power scale, because they grant more powerful spell-like abilities as you advance. I gotta say, protection from good 3/day just isn't in the same league as blasphemy 1/day and DR 15/+2 (or whatever.)
