| YamiShinobi12-31-07, 01:00 AM | Ok im a rouge/assassing the rouge part is lvl 5 and the assassin is lvl 3 now i make a mean rouge i mean i get plus 18 to my tumble check but the fact of my not having a lot of hp should i take a third class as a fighter or stick with leveling with what i got and stay in the back of the group???? buy an amulet of health, a +4 should do, or find a way to bump up your dexterity +4 at least (the amulet of health +4 will increase your hp by 16, effectively 2 rogue levels or 1 figther level, +2 on fortitude, each costs 8,000 gp combined 16,000, or another way, if you have at least 16 wis and 13000 gp, buy a monk's belt) Gloves of dex +4 will raise your ac by 2, reflex saves by 2, ranged/finesse by 2, your tumble and sleight of hand by 2, heck, if you don't have a mithral chain shirt, get one, 1100 plus cost for bonus to ac. a mithral chain shirt saved my life many times.) do not take a level of fighter, unless you plan on taking a decent feat, don't waste it on toughness, and only that one level, in fact, don't take any fighter levels, if your party fighter can help you flank, or your cleric can heal you, you will be fine. or even better, the party scholar can buff you, (by scholar, i mean arcane caster, 80% of the full arcane casters i've seen are bookworms) |
